PLATFORM

As a dedicated candidate for North Carolina House District 63, I am committed to advocating for our vibrant and diverse community. Graduating cum laude from Duke University and earning a law degree from Elon School of Law, I have built a career grounded in service and leadership. My extensive experience includes serving on several boards such as the Department of Social Services, Allied Churches, The Burlington School, St. Mark’s Church, the Public Transit Advisory Commission, Family Abuse Services, and Sustainable Alamance. Each role has deepened my understanding of our community’s needs and strengthened my resolve to drive positive change.
Things I'm concerned about...
Affordable Housing

I've seen firsthand the power of safe, affordable housing.

At Habitat for Humanity, I worked side by side with families, volunteers, and community leaders to create homes that provide stability and hope.

Now, I am ready to bring that same dedication to the North Carolina General Assembly.

Everyone deserves a place to call home.

Education

Education is the cornerstone of our community's future. Every child deserves access to quality education, and every teacher deserves the resources and respect they need.

I will advocate for increased funding for our schools, support for educators, and initiatives that provide our children with the tools they need to thrive.

I Stand with Students, Teachers, & Parents.💯

Minimum Wage

Everyone deserves a fair wage for a hard day's work.

I will fight to raise the minimum wage to ensure that all workers in North Carolina can support themselves and their families.

It's time to create an economy that works for everyone, not just the privileged few.

Those who work deserve to be fairly compensated for the work they perform.

Women's Reproductive Rights

Every woman deserves the autonomy to make decisions about her own body and health.

I will fight tirelessly to safeguard these rights and ensure access to comprehensive healthcare services.

This includes protecting access to contraception, ensuring the availability of safe and legal abortion services, and supporting maternal health programs.

Women's healthcare is a fundamental right, and it is essential that we provide the resources and education necessary for women to make informed choices about their bodies.

I will work to remove barriers and fight against legislation that seeks to restrict these freedoms.

It’s about respect, dignity, and equality for all women in North Carolina.
